Legacy Work Academy trains new entrants and working professionals for careers in Construction & Skilled Trades and Hospitality & Food Service — and places every graduate into legitimate, verifiable employment with vetted employers.
Most workforce programs struggle with two things: resources at the beginning and placement at the end. Legacy Work Academy was built by industry operators to solve both before the first cohort ever starts.
An employer consortium — a general contractor, trade subcontractors, hospitality operators, and equipment dealers — is committed to hiring graduates before training begins. We don't train and hope; we train to fill real openings.
Nationally recognized, verifiable credentials: OSHA, NCCER, and apprenticeship pathways in construction; ServSafe, California Food Handler, and RBS certification in hospitality. Credentials employers actually require.
Every placement is on the books: W-2 payroll or fully compliant contracting with vetted employers. Graduates get workers' comp coverage, Social Security credit, provable income, and a clean, verifiable work history.
Both divisions serve people new to the industry, incumbent workers ready to advance, and employer partners who need trained, credentialed teams.
Pre-apprenticeship foundations, craft advancement, and a pathway from first day on site to journey-level status and a contractor's license.
From food handler certification to line cook, bartending, and supervisor readiness — timed to Southern California's historic run of world events.
The Academy grows out of a working ecosystem: an operating general contractor, an extensive network of trade subcontractors, decades-old relationships with hospitality operators, equipment dealers and servicers, and academic and design partners.
Nonprofit organizations, employers, sponsors, workforce boards, and public partners: bring a turnkey, revenue-positive training program to the communities you serve — with placement already solved.
